Fujifilm GFX 50R review so far

Summary

The Fujifilm GFX 50R is a rangefinder-styled medium format mirrorless tv camera with 50 Megapixels and a reinforced-in electronic viewfinder. IT's the second GFX body and shares the same sensor as the groundbreaking 50S, but packs IT into a more compact body that's 145g light and 25mm dilutant. The redesign means the 50R loses the tilting viewfinder of the 50S on with its pep pill information board, dedicated ISO dial and the chance to angle the blind sideways, although its screen nonmoving angles dormy and down and some the shutter and compensation dials rest. In my men the new 50R certainly mat up much more steerable and a camera you'd consider using outside and handheld a lot more than the 50S.

The Fujifilm GFX 50R is a rangefinder-styled medium format mirrorless camera with 50 Megapixels and a built-in electronic viewfinder. Declared in September 2018, information technology's the second model in the GFX series, following the GFX 50S which launched the format 2 years previously. The new GFX 50R shares the same sensor and timber atomic number 3 the original 50S, but packs it into a comfortably smaller and lighter body which today includes an electronic viewfinder.

The Fujifilm G format employs a sensor measuring 43.8×32.9mm, making it larger than the 36x24mm of sperm-filled-frame sensors, and like the G50S which launched the arrange, the G50R packs 50 Megapixels onto it; the sensor is identical to the G50S, arsenic is the image quality. The body however is noticeably more compact with the view finder now built-into the corner rather than slippery onto the top as an accessory, and with the riddle no longer projected as far. The result is a torso that, at 775g, weighs 145g to a lesser degree the G50S with its finder fitted, while measuring 25mm diluent. In your hands it's much more manageable and the rangefinder styling evokes memories of vintage Fujifilm medium format film bodies like the GF670. The redesign does however entail the 50R loses the tilting view finder of the 50S along with its speed entropy empanel, devoted ISO dial and the chance to weight the screen sidewise, although it still angles up and down and both the shutter and compensation dials remain.

The built-in view finder is electronic-only, employing a 3.69 Million dot OLED board with 0.77x blowup. Tethered shooting is also available with support for Adobe photoshop and Seizure One In favor. The GFX system has mature steady since launch and I've been spending some quality fourth dimension with a 50R for my review-so-far!
